terrorism and its aftermath

An year has passed by.........................

but the terror it created is still prevailing...there have been attacks before but this one particularly had an everlasting impact over me...may be because i followed the news for those 6o hours (have seen and heard such things before, but to like million others, they never really bothered me as i had been sooo busy)

watching all of it live on the television gave me goosebumps....at times i didn't realize that i was crying until my mom told me so....we lost few of our best commandos....

all this because 10 armed men crossed the border and killed hundreds of innocent people....

our system has really disappointed me to the core....even after an year the lone terrorist captured 'kasab' hasn't been convicted yet because they think that his "admissions do not amount to confessions"

this is a country where a man stays behind bars for 14years and then they realize that it has been a mistake and he is innocent.....but people like 'Moninder Singh Pandher' (nithari case) and 'Kasab' are not tried just because of the lack of proofs against them...with the testimony of 250 witnesses and strong forensic evidences we are still waiting for the final verdict...Rs.31crores have been spent on him till date (or nearly Rs. 8.5 lakh per day) what an amount of keeping alive a terrorist.....
just wish that the verdict comes out soon and he gets punished for what he has done.....
